The 2015 Ford Fusion is believed to come out during the summer of 2014 but only as a slight update of the last year’s model.

Its release on the global market is expected to happen until the beginning of this fall. We hope that there will be some official reports about its release date very soon.

How will the 2015 Ford Fusion look like?

This mid-size sedan will be offered in three trim levels: S, SE and Titan. What’s more, the last two will also be available as hybrid variants. Since the previous model has undergone some serious refreshments in its design, this upcoming model will come out almost unchanged. Looking from the outside, this brand-new sedan will have slim and swept-back headlights and a small hexagonal grille at the front. Also, under the headlights, there will be round fog lights inserted in the front bumper. The overall lines and curves of this vehicle will give an impression of an excellent aerodynamics.

What features will be included inside the cabin of the 2015 Ford Fusion?

Its dashboard will be supplied with the MyFord Touch Infotainment System, of course. However, there will also be a heated steering wheel, Sync voice command system, ventilated and heated seats, and lots of other valuable elements. Among the safety features, this car will be offered with an Adaptive Cruise Control, plenty of airbags, a Parking Assist and a Blind Spot Detection.

What powertrain will be placed under the hood of the 2015 Ford Fusion?

The basic option will be a 2.5L inline-4 power unit with a 6-speed automatic gearbox that is expected to produce 175 hp and 175 lb-ft of torque. Furthermore, there will also be available three more EcoBoost engine choices: a 1.5L – capable to generate 178 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque; 1.6L – developing 178 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque; and a 2.0L that is estimated to be able to produce 240 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. The first and the last engine choices will be mated to a 6-speed automatic, whereas the second one will be coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission.

What will be the price of the 2015 Ford Fusion?

We can await similar prices as in its predecessor, and those are from $21,900 to $32,600.
