2015 Nissan Frontier redesign and review

2015 Nissan Frontier

The 2015 Nissan Frontier is hoped to come out at some of the International Auto Shows during the next year, but it is still uncertified when exactly.

Hopefully, soon after its premiere, the 2015 Nissan Frontier will be available in the showrooms worldwide. Anyhow, it will surely attract the attention of many potential buyers because of its updated design.

Design of 2015 Nissan Frontier

The 2015 Nissan Frontier will be made on the same chassis as the one used in Xterra and Infiniti QX56. Its body will be produced from highly strong steel and lightweight aluminum to decrease its overall weight as much as possible. Probably, this new pick-up truck will be offered in three different trims, like the previous model: S, SV Attack and SL. They will all differ in cargo space, equipment, and engine choice and cabin volume. Furthermore, this mid-size off-road vehicle will be available in two distinct bed types: a super cab will have the bed five inches long, while an extended cab will have the bed six inches long. As for the interior, the 2015 Nissan Frontier will be equipped with a moon roof, leather upholstery, Bluetooth, internet radio and many others.

Engine range for 2015 Nissan Frontier

Speaking of the powertrain option, the 2015 Nissan Frontier will be supplied with two different engines. The smaller one will be a 2.5 L with inline 4, mated to CVT transmission. The bigger power unit choice will be a 3.5 L V6 engine that will be coupled to either 6-speed automatic or manual transmission. Both powertrains will be available with rear-wheel and all-wheel drive. What’s more, there is a chance of releasing a hybrid version as well.  This hybrid model will use the 2.5L engine with an electric motor that will produce 60 hp and 220 lb-ft of torque. Its power will be run by lithium-ion battery.

Price of 2015 Nissan Frontier

The price of the 2015 Nissan Frontier is not confirmed yet, but we assume that it will be similar to the current model whose price ranges from $ 20,000 to $ 32,000. Anyhow, stay tuned and find out any new information about this attractive pick-up truck.

I’m on my third Frontier, including a 2006 and 2010. Two relatives also drive newer Frontiers. Excellent trucks but dated.

It’s great to see a new model but if it can’t get better than 25mpg they
should have saved the effort. Just look at Ram and F 150. Also, the once
reliable Nissan badge needs some quality control – see Consumers Reports

Kinda tough to haul anything with that small of a cargo bed. :)
